As the Competent Authority, we participate internationally in the International Association for Marine Aids to Navigation (IALA) VTS Committee and at IMO, thereby ensuring that we work with other authorities to harmonise and improve VTS globally. The VTS advisory group contributes to our national position on issues discussed and decided at the IMO and IALA.
