Compliance activities during the past year were conducted in accordance with the 2022-23 National Compliance Plan and focused on higher risk areas informed by safety data.

1 2AMSA’s domestic commercial vessel (DCV) targeting prioritisation model is in early stages of implementation and under constant refinement based on DCV inspection results. The model has been updated for the 2023/24 financial year after annual review and will continue to be refined with the goal of identifying and prioritising higher risk DCV operations for inspection.
