NSCV Part B - specifies the following:  

1. the application and objectives of the NSCV;  
2. a system for the categorization of vessels;  
3. methods for calculating the measured length, depth and gross tonnage of vessels;  
4. a dictionary of definitions for the NSCV

What has been updated

Editorial changes that have been amended in Part B are contained in sections 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.9, 2.1 and Schedule 2.
