The 2018 version of the handbook is now available.
It can be used as a training text incorporating and updating the dangerous goods compendium contained in IMO Model course 1.10. For this reason, the handbook includes a guide to the training required for each function described in Chapter 1.3 of the IMDG code (Annex 1 outlines training requirements and relevant handbook sections and other references).
About the latest version
The 2018 version of the handbook covers changes adopted in the 2014 and 2016 editions of the IMDG code. It reflects the changes to stowage and segregation in the dangerous goods list and the significant stowage and segregation changes adopted in charter 7.1 and 7.2 of the IMDG code.
