We are committed to 'cracking the code' through implementing workforce planning and engagement programs informed by our new D&I Strategy and our Gender Equity Action Plan. Through these documents, we outline our commitment to achieving a gender balanced and inclusive workforce, with a target of 50% women employees at AMSA by 2025.
One of the ways we have introduced innovation to meet this target is by changing our recruitment and selection processes to identify and design out bias. This is part of a commitment we made in our Gender Equity Action Plan to remove gender bias and gendered language in our recruitment process and communications.
Through introducing gender inclusive processes and demonstrating best practice recruitment and retention procedures, we aim to inspire more women to embark on a career in the maritime sector.
