A gala dinner will be held in Newcastle, NSW on 1 September 2023 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Mission to Seafarers’ presence in Newcastle.
AMSA is proud to sponsor this gala dinner and fundraiser to recognise the vital work of Mission to Seafarers (MTS) Newcastle chapter over the last 150 years.
As a worldwide charity, Mission to Seafarers stands alongside 1.6 million men and women in 260 ports around the world.
The charity supports seafarers by connecting them with loved ones, providing medical, welfare and chaplaincy services, and working with governments to improve conditions for seafarers in accordance with international maritime legislation.
