On 4 and 5 February 2020, we hosted three community information sessions in Newcastle, Tea Gardens and Nelson Bay.
Our project team was there to explain the logistics of the salvage, risk mitigation and how the waste will be managed.

Found some debris?
NSW Maritime will continue to oversee the clean-up of foreshore areas.
People should call 13 12 36 and select Option 2 to report any debris from the containers that is washed up on beaches and along the coastline.
