Marine order 21—Safety and emergency arrangements

Marine order 21 sets out the requirements for safety and emergency arrangements including:

• safety measures for manning, bridge visibility, pilot transfer arrangements and operation of steering gear
• emergency procedures such signals, drills, passenger lists
• management plans and duties of seafarers
• atmosphere sampling and measuring.
