Public interest disclosure

How to raise concerns of wrongdoing as a current or former public official.

If you are a current or former public official and suspect that wrongdoing has occurred, you can report it under the provisions of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013 (PID Act).

Current or former public officials can report suspected wrongdoing through Your Call - a secure, external, independent service - or directly to one of our appointed Authorised Officers:

Lloyd Dobson
Manager, Governance
Phone: 02 6279 5615
Lloyd.Dobson@amsa.gov.au

Beth Stuart
Advisor Governance, Quality
Ph: 02 6279 5794
Beth.Stuart@amsa.gov.au

Public interest disclosures can be made verbally or in writing and can be made anonymously.

We will treat any disclosure under the PID Act confidentially, and you will be afforded a number of protections when making a report.

Confidential reporting options for suspected wrongdoing are separate to AMSA’s complaints process.

Where you believe we have not met your expectations or not conducted ourselves as outlined in our service charter, we support your right to make a complaint.

We are committed to treating complaints seriously, dealing with them quickly and fairly, and learning from them.
