About 

NSCV C5C provides requirements for the design, manufacture, installation and operation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems on vessels that fuel appliances. 

This includes, but is not limited to: 

  • pressure regulators 
  • LPG system tests 
  • gas detection systems 

This subsection applies to: 

  • appliances using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) 

It does not apply to the LPG systems for: 

  • main or auxiliary combustion engines  
  • portable, self-contained appliances directly connected to the LPG cylinder
