Non-survey beach fishery vessels operating anywhere in Australia
This new equipment list is for non-survey vessels operating:
- within 200 metres of land - If you transit beyond 200 metres of land to reach your operational area this equipment list is not applicable to your vessel
- with shore-based personnel keeping watch over the vessel in line of sight
- anywhere in Australia.

For example, a Class 3C-Restricted vessel operating under the determination can only operate in C-restricted waters that are within 200 metres of land; and a Class 3E vessel can only operate in E waters that are within 200 metres of land.
