The Surveyor Accreditation Scheme
The Surveyor Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) is how the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) ensures that surveyors have the appropriate qualifications, capabilities and experience to competently survey domestic commercial vessels under the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law Act 2012 (National Law). The scheme came into effect on 2 January 2015.
