This section displays the online services of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). AMSA has more online services been released in the coming months so stay tuned.
The Spatial@AMSA portal is your gateway to the Australia Maritime Safety Authority’s (AMSA) geographic information. The portal showcases spatial data that supports maritime and aviation safety activities and protection of the marine environment.
Spatial@AMSA allows you to discover and download selected datasets and map products through the Spatial Data Centre. It also provides a capability to request customised products and spatial analysis from AMSA’s GIS Team.
Spatial@AMSA is designed to run on a range of platforms and browsers including smart phones and tablets. AMSA’s policy is to support the hardware and browser software that make up ninety percent of market share. As this changes over time the specific range of devices and standards supported will vary.
The Spatial@AMSA landing page displays the number of 406 Beacon Registrations for each postcode from 2008 to 2013.
